In particular, we can already understand what the new Apple devices will look like, and recently some of their characteristics became known. What does the iPhone 17 Pro look like?
For the first time with the iPhone 11 Pro, the iPhone 17 Pro will change the design of the camera block. Since 2019, the company has used a square module with three lenses, which has periodically increased in size, and over time LiDAR has also been added there. However, the changes in the cameras won’t end there. In the iPhone 16 Pro, the company uses a telephoto lens that supports fivefold optical zoom with a resolution of 12 MP. Let’s be honest, for a smartphone in this price category, such a resolution, even if not the main camera in 2025, looks shameful. Apparently, this is why Apple will increase the resolution of the telephoto lens in the iPhone 17 Pro to 48 MP.
As a result, all three cameras in the iPhone 17 Pro will be able to shoot at 48 MP. Some insiders suggest that thanks to this, 8K video recording will appear in the new “firmware”. For the first time in the iPhone. Given the fact that Apple positions the iPhone Pro as a tool for professional shooting, the appearance of such an opportunity is not surprising.
Iphone’s front-facing camera

I suggest you go back a bit and discuss the design of the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17Pro Max again. In the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 ProMax, the company used a titanium frame and an all-glass back panel. In the new iPhones, the back panel, in addition to the enlarged camera block, will also look completely different. First, judging by the latest rumors, Apple is going to abandon titanium and even use aluminum in the iPhone 17Pro and iPhone 17Pro Max.
Externally, you will hardly notice any differences between these two metals. Secondly, somehow it is necessary to ensure the operability of wireless charging and MagSafe magnets, and therefore a glass insert will be located in the center of the back panel of the new iPhone. It’s hard for me to comment on this decision, but it doesn’t feel like a complete device. It’s as if Apple just assembled it from the scraps that were available. I would like to see it live, and then, perhaps, the opinion will change.
Processor in iPhone
